Everybody's chasing money that may not be there in the future
I mean Disney is trying to dump ESPN as we speak. So where is the TV money going to come from?

Maybe 10 years or so from now, the conference members will reshuffle back for logistical reasons. the money will not be there. They will return to regional conferences. Flying all these athletes everywhere around the Nation may make universities appear to be carbon polluters. Then, their ivory towers may not appear to be so white.

Who would have thought Apple would basically torpedo the entire record industry and make way more money than the record companies ever did by selling phones that play all your music. Who saw that coming in say 1995? Sure as heck not me.
