I’ve been on vacay and looks like I missed some stuff
Where do I start to catch up on everything? Is everyone feeling good about things at the moment? Did we predict it accurately? Thanks all.

Agree. If they could have made it happen by this point, they would have.

Suddenly the PAC12 looks like the easiest shot to the CFB playoffs

PAC is Finished
I heard them say on the Monty Show that Stanford was seriously exploring becoming an Independent. Stanford will probably just never fit in the Mountain West. Cal, Oregon State & Washington State will be absorbed into the Mountain West. Will only be making $8MM or $9 MM yearly. The Mountain West doesn't have to concede a PAC merger or anything else. I am also sure all those PAC admission applications by the SMU's & Tulane's have now dried up just like the Apple Stream.

Very sad day for a historic conference. Thanks Big 10.

I hate what the Big 10 has done here…
but the PAC 12 made some crushing mistakes in the last 10 years or so. Sad sequence of events, I really liked the PAC 12. The Big 10 is Mussolini invading France in June 1940. One hopes their leadership is ultimately hung by the heels in front of a Milan gas station.

Dismantling the PAC Was a BIG Effort
It is very debatable that Arizona could have ever went to the Big 12 without Arizona State. Michael Crow who is the President of Arizona State rebelled against leaving the PAC in a Board of Regents meeting on Thursday night. Crow rebelling effectively ended that Board of Regents meeting with no resolution made about leaving the PAC. That Board of Regents governs both Arizona & Arizona State. Utah would have never made the jump to be #14 in the Big 12. Crow was demanding a Friday morning PAC meeting to sign a new GOR along with his Big 12 refusals at the Regents meeting. Crow had previously acted as if he was ready to head off to the Big 12. So it all was a sneaky act by Crow that literally derailed the Big 12 move and replaced it with a GOR signing event the next Friday morning. That PAC zoom meeting began Friday morning with the GOR being presented. Oregon immediately interrupted and declared they were signing no GOR. Washington immediately echoed what Oregon had said. They declared they had B1G offers. That ended the GOR signing event right there and the rest is history.

What if two PAC4 teams ended up 11-1….

They'll need a tiebreaker, or have both in the "top 10."
That way they get a champion and an "at large" team into the playoff.

A conference with 50% of their league in a 4-team playoff would be 🙃
