Travel time will be another issue to address, and if it becomes a clear problem for the athletes, there are moves the Athletic Dept can make to soften the stress. The academic side may push back on some of these, but solutions are possible. Establish more Zoom classes and give athletes priority access. Bring the tutors along for the road trip (pay them more). Schedule some electives, popular among athletes on days of the week that mesh with their regular game schedules. Purists, traditionalist aint gonna like it. But it will come about if it answers some needs for the athletes.
