My firsrt edict as ESPN college football head
I pay for games I make the schedule Miami you play VT or ACC gets less money. I tell Phillips. Miami plays VT UNC plays VT Clemson plays UNC Clemson plays VT Clemson plays Florida State every year Duke and Wake and BC get les primetime games. ACC can divide the money however they choose Market Dynamics. Field a quality product. Sell that product to your customers (fans) or get less games and ultimately less revenue. This is the not the Atlantic Communist Conference. You produce or you don't get games, paid. etc. No more I-AA games. No more than one G5 game. Max games between SEC and ACC big brands Tennn vs VT at Brstol 2 UNC vs SC Florida vs Miami Alabma vs FSU Clemson vs. Georgia LSU vs Virginia NC State vs Texas ** Edited by LocalExperts at 8/9/2022, 8:22:33 PM ** Edited by LocalExperts at 8/9/2022, 10:31:33 PM

No more games at Bristol. It was great event as a 1 off. A 2nd would suck

It was a great atmosphere...for a one time event.

Yep. Our band of RV traveling VT fans had a great time.
We all left VT on Sunday in a large caravan & traveled to Bristol, Tenn. We spent the whole week together. Had a great time doing stuff in Bristol, VA/TN. But we wouldn't do it again.

Putting ESPN in-charge is why The ACC is in media money hell.

Agreed. It's also why the ACC hasn't been picked apart yet.
It is a double edged sword for sure. Some part of the problem was self inflicted, some was bad timing, others are just plain bad luck. One question I will always have is whether or not the ACC knew they had a choice between guaranteed stability but with a lower payout or being left vulnerable to being the hunted. Human nature almost always chooses safety over risk.

Bourbon vs Zima. Would love to see RV’s roll into Charlottesville

They would die of a collective heart attack.
Of course a repeat of LSU at VT would cause collective heart attacks for Tech's admin and blacksburg's admin. 1st LSU happened before the VT admin knew what was happening. Not sure how it would go over for the traveling LSU horde the second time around.. Tech has relatively limited number of RV parking sites, and a relatively lot opening time.

Not initially. First, they'd ask UNC how they're supposed to act. And
then copy it.

simple isn't it? ACC Can't figure it out. Severely damaged VT w/ bad sched.
I mean, you couldn't really come up with a worst rotation of games for VT these last 15 years. They stuck us with BC for some reason. The teams in our division don't sell tickets in their home stadiums, much less in Lane. Now, they stuck us with UVA, Wake, and Pitt? screw them. They are doing everything they can to kill off VT Football. Quality schedules is a premo donation and ticket sales driver. And to think, VT Football carried these bums for several years.

I dont think they are trying to kill VT. I just think that they dont have
a clue on how to maximize what little football content they have.

I loved that attitude, but we're far worse off than the BE days right now.
Like, we will literally NOT have a chance at a title. If we ever do get a Corey Moore or Mike Vick, or even a drunkenmiller, they're gonna bolt after the first break out season to a league that will pay them. I wouldn't blame them either. The gap cannot be overcome soon. Some teams have overcome it recently, but that number is about to be zero once the B1G and SEC start paying. Like legit paying these kids.
