The best thing VT can do to get ready for next round
every Hokie watch every game. Recruit family, kids, parents, aunts, uncles to watch games. and win on the field. And grow to a 40,000 student university between Blacksburg, Roanoke, and DC.

Build the largest student population, best fans, provide the most support, have the most television viewers & most ticket purchasers.
The more support you have, the more players who want to play here and coaches who want to work here. Improved football program means more wins on the field. More wins equals more new Hokie fans watching the Hokies.
More fans = more value to the ACC, and the P2 conferences.

I know that's blasphemy, but it would have certain advantages. It would be huge for recruiting and overall marketing.

Might as well build satellite campuses in Bora Bora and on the moon while we're at it.

...campus in the 757? We have a NOVA graduate campus, so why not a add undergraduate classes? With our excellent CC system, VT only needs to add junior and senior level classes.
One thing the Hoos did I thought was fantastic was teaching the junior and senior level courses for a particular degree at TCC, so students wouldn't have to relocate to Charlottesville to get their BA from UVA. VT could do that on a much larger scale (several different BA/BS degrees) in both NOVA and the 757.
