I approach current planning with the notion that the ACC is dead in 2036.

Some form of the ACC will probably exist, but I mean the ACC as we know it or want it to be. Now 2036 is a long way off. So things could change. But for now, it's about trying to stay close to the P2 in money, competitiveness and profile enough to be attractive to the P2 come that time. I don't know if this is a good move or not. But I'm ok with it. The one thing that COULD change is that the P2 model could be shown to be inflated between now and then, and the whole system might be starving for a return to regionalism. But we can cross that bridge if we ever come to it. In the meanwhile, we are headed in the opposite direction of said bridge. ** Edited by Maroon Baboon at 9/1/2023, 9:56:02 AM

I would advocate punting BC and picking up WVA to strengthen the league.
