Obviously still didn't have votes to pass.I did see Sports Illustrated is taking FSU somewhat seriously. This board is on a Virginia Tech website. I say that because Tech is a school that at least somewhat should at least be on the fence about an FSU defection. I mean Tech is one of two schools in a big population state that neither the SEC or BIG presently occupy. I past related in a post or two here that I am personally not fond of the FSU fan base. However I fit in perfectly here because FSU is painted the villain by many here every day. I am just imagining how the fan bases of Wake, BC & Duke feel about FSU. FSU is making themselves the most hated member of any conference in this country. Why is FSU doing that? I can only see two possible logical reasons. First, FSU is just pulling out all the stops in an all out effort to haggle more money from their ACC cohorts. Or secondly, FSU is dead serious and simply running interference for other ACC members to join them. Time will tell how this all plays out.
