I'm sure there are lots of BIG fans and school admins that are not happy

The BIG was always a very closely related (in some ways a bit of Stockholm Syndrome from living in the frozen wasteland that is the upper midwest). When MD and RUT were added, most fans were not happy, they liked the money it brought in, but they hated the idea of those 2 schools being part of their conference. Neb fit in well, though it didn't bring in any real revenue bump. My BIG friends are disgusted with the latest moves. The BIG is the midwest schools to them, and always will be. I think the downfall will be when the fans don't watch and the real revenue is not what was is predicted. The SEC on the other hand, added 2 schools that fit and the fans are excited about it. Not to mention being able to smack Texas around to show them what life in a real FB conference looks like.

I could see Penn State preferring the ACC at some point

Nope. Expanded playoff means nobody is leaving behind the money

A&M to B1G maybe. ACC offers less money and football prestige than the SEC.

Give it a few years and there may be some schools unhappy with the results

What if we promised that Big TX would never be admitted to the ACC?
