At this point the ACC needs more members to keep up in the P4 race. If everyone else has closed the door on the PAC leftovers then the ACC is almost forced to get off their butts and take the chance to grow. Even just earlier today I thought the ACC’s best move was to wait and not grab any east coast teams. But if they can grab 4 west coast schools, including some very good academic ones, then go for it. This could even open up some new academic opportunities for partnerships that benefit the ACC schools. At this point anything is possible and nothing makes sense so let’s make the All Coast Conference.
