All the other B10 and SEC schools must not get it either, because they

are all fighting for and investing hundreds of millions for football supremacy, not basketball supremacy. If there were more money to be made in basketball, those coaches would be making $10MM per year, not the football coaches. I get what you're saying, but I just don't think it works out that way in practice. ** Edited by JohnsonCItyHokie at 7/8/2022, 7:48:43 PM

Major problems here...
HokieToph 07/09/22 10:38 AM ET
Lets say there is 48 teams that break away from the NCAA, or even 64
Maroon Baboon 07/10/22 01:44 AM ET
Some problems I see.

Does the bball tourney money NOT go to the schools now?
TDVick 07/08/22 08:45 PM ET
Goes to the NCAA, the football money goes to the Conferences/schools/**

I'd see if ND would join IF we added Stanford, Cal, UW, UO, and WVU/Navy
daveinop 07/08/22 08:32 PM ET
Lots of rumors about all of that, first priority I think is who does ND
Stech 07/08/22 10:15 PM ET
You're talking about decreasing individual school's payouts

You're right for now, but don't skate to the puck, skate where it's going!

Well... not so sure about your stats...

And one of the reasons Navy has slightly better numbers than Army is due to

Again: Their methodology is EXTREMELY FLAWED...
jesuisvtguy 07/08/22 09:20 PM ET
Of course it's flawed, or at least there are other variables at work.
Maroon Baboon 07/08/22 09:30 PM ET
Not so sure, don't give your opinion, look them up and then let me know.
Stech 07/08/22 08:14 PM ET
On which part? Where did I err? Do you have a reference to research...
jesuisvtguy 07/08/22 09:23 PM ET
I still think the ACC should help itself with a missing rivalry
HOO86 07/08/22 07:32 PM ET
I would be very happy with WVU, I agree on the rivalries for football, but

No, doesn't change my mind

you think the ncaat is still worth $1B after P2 break?

Good question, it may go down some at first, let's say it drops to 800 mill

It is dropping.....

NCAA made 870 million this year and most of the money is for later rounds,

They might equally value Stanford. Don't know if Stanford would join

🚢 Navy to ACC? 1️⃣ ND wouldn't do it. 2️⃣ Navy wouldn't a SHOULDN'T do it.
