The Grant of Rights are pretty damn tight and it takes 10 votes to break it. As long as 5 members stay together everyone stays, or each school can donate 100-150 million to leave. This is so Big East again, and remember VT was kinda the same way (however, while they were leading the charge to stick together, they got the ACC bid and basically jumped.) I think VT is way smarter in any external statements of anything. Dont, get me started on the super conferences, and the apparent selection criteria is only what ESPN wants to get their top media schools. (ie. reports USC does not want Oregon in the big 10, and its a big deal for them, (also to get ND, Big 10 might junk Washington or Oregon to get Stanford).... Also heard clemson is not really a lock in to the SEC (blocking by GA and SC). SO we see an exclusive playoff with only the two big conferences, they lock out previous participants such as clemson, Washington Oregon Cincinnati, and also with the playoff sites being the big bowls lock out all the other teams from Sugar, Fiesta, Rose, Orange and Atlanta. This is really so unprincipled. IT has nothing to do with fan base, support of the program or product on the field or even results. Sounds very anti trust.
