FWIW the NAIA and NCAA are mirror images of each in terms of structure, organization, and operation. I have not found a sound explanation to explain why the new association would somehow be "different" from either of them. That isn't to say the new organization should be "different' from the NCAA. I am not sure the schools have a clear list of changes that would create that distinction vs. no reason to reinvent the wheel.
