The schools are going to leave then because 2029-2030 is the window.

The new media rights contracts for basically everyone except the ACC will be open for negotiation then. The time to leave is THEN, not in 2036. Nobody is going to sit around for 4 more years in a G5 conference. You're also ignoring the fact that Disney is not going to pay the ACC for Clemson and FSU when they're not getting Clemson and FSU. The pro rata shares in the ACC will almost certainly be reduced to account.
