You act like any one actually had power. There was no rollover time after

time. It was once, probably in 2021 when ESPN clearly said they did not need the ACC nearly as bad as the ACC needed them. That was the only time. After that every ACC action has been to get as much as they can for as long as they can knowing that it is ESPN that sets the agenda. Resistance was futile then and now. That is just the way it is and it really isn't anybody who let anybody down. It is just business and the powers that be will not look at how they can make money off the "smaller" conferences until after they have the last 4-8 teams in the big boy fold. And in one way that puts VT in a position worse than most because the door to the big leagues is not yet closed to us.
