Nope, didn't sleep though it, but i think that you make too

many assumptions. Sure, FSU is a brand, but if you were the SEC, would you want them? They already have Texas pressuring them to have 9 conference games. That, and where the hell is Clemson going? Sure, they have 3 national championships to their name, but the do not have the history of blue blood status, nor do they have the history of the entire country tuning into their games. As long as they are a top 10 school, sure - but that applies to any school in the ACC with the exception of SMU. North Carolina????? Football????? Maybe the market, and their basketball program, but really, are they worth the $100M for the Big 10? The ACC might lose a few, but the bar is higher than you think. The P2 will not dilute themselves for more schools, they just don't have too. They already have the lions share of the media and playoff money. I think the ACC needs 16 schools. If they lose 2, they will survive as a power conference. If they lose 3, they have UConn as a decent add. I just don't see the P2 taking more than that.
