The ACC likely would’ve taken some of them if the $$$ was there

Again, why vote for expansion if you lose money as a result? There are probably several schools that the ACC would add right now if ESPN would increase the payout. You are assuming the ACC hasn’t approached ESPN to do so. It isn’t a one-way street.
