The Big 12 has a GOR which kept OU and Texas in it for 2-3 years

The Big 12 waived the last year of the GOR and came to a settlement on the exit fee with OU and Texas for them to leave a year early. Like Stech said, the ACC GOR was modeled after the Big 12. The difference is I think FSU is arguing more is about that the commissioner agreed to stuff without consultation with the member schools such as FSU. Clemson I think is saying the GOR and is too strict. So yes, that would be similar. But think Clemson was arguing also about the tv contract length too. Yes, the Big 12 has been picked over. The GOR has helped the ACC not be picked over. But the ACC members that are left once the brands leave will be classified, like the Big 12, as an island of misfits when they start inviting schools.
