FWIW - ACC speculations
So much happening right now.
Alright, FSU has filed a new response today against the ACC in Leon County Court - Florida. It is accusing the ACC of deception and so much in more crooked claims, etc. It's getting ugly. The short of it reads that FSU has announced they are leaving officially through this response verbatim. FSU will be out before their first game in Ireland this season, they will finish the 2024 schedule as is but possibly not as an ACC member. I don't know what that could mean exactly in terms of ACC Championship Game stuff.
We all have sources. Most of the time even the sources speculate so take everything with a grain of salt. But here it goes..6-8 teams are going to bail from the ACC - headed to a P2 destination. FSU, Clemson, UNC and ND are gone. But others are now in discussion based on what FOX is asking for. We'll see. But I suspect VT higher ups should be talking and thinking P2 now. Fingers crossed. I want this to be correct. Again, as always there is so much talk...just sharing what I get told at the network levels.
