All I was saying is that it is possible, maybe even likely, that Virginia could end up with an AG that has a different opinion on this particular issue. Given that any candidate running for public office will typically campaign on multiple issues, it is reasonable to assume the same will be true for future AG elections. Also, it is reasonable to assume that people will have differing opinions on what they consider to be the most important issue when deciding which candidate to vote for in the AG election. You may think the most important issue is making sure both UVA and VT are not left out of having a seat at the P2 table is the most important issue for the AG. Will may think online political contributions is the most important issue for the AG. Chris may think pursuing tougher penalties for people accused of committing a crime and enforcing tougher penalties when convicted of a crime is the most imporant issue for the AG. All 3 people have different #1s, but they could still vote for the same candidate or a different candidate (assuming the #1 issue determines who you vote for in the AG election).
