Although I have had some confusion with different people about the ACC GoR and ND football. ND football is not a member of the ACC and so they are free to leave. It's all other sports that carry that exit fee. At least that is what I have gathered from ESPN reports. Being intertwined in all sports with the ACC is a little more complicated in terms of the legal ramifications despite ND having their name on the same GoR that every other member has signed. But there can be no discussion of where ND goes without discussing all sports. I believe ND has a home for all sports at the Big East. It's no coincidence NBC just signed a deal to televise Big East hoops games. ND football can get a guaranteed partial B1G schedule (possibly SEC as well) for the right price. Obviously, ND because of its following has many options as always, but joining a P2 in all sports but football is not one of them thankfully. The ND old guard still wants football Independence. I don't see them budging until forced to do so down the road when money and better CFP inclusion does the talking.
