and I'd say schools like Michigan and LSU have already been pouring money into non-revs because of truckloads of football money. If some other school (e.g., UVa) loses some football money, then "disproportionate" might happen without Michigan and LSU starting to pour. Also, while no individual non-rev is expensive to fund, 15 of them are...losing ground in football might make picking and choosing where you want your competitiveness more of a necessity/reality The other thing is that there's really no advantage to going into a "traditional amateur" league, is there? Other than being self-righteous and saying "we won't stoop to the SEC/B1G level!"
