For Oregon it is a matter of location

The biggest weakness for Oregon is that they are up in the northwest and have no other options. They either stay in PAC or go to BIG. That’s all they have for choices. since the BIG knows that Oregon wants to join, they have all the power and can slow play them. There is nothing to lose for the BIG. And to clarify, my comment about branding is not school specific. It is a conference brand that they are building. Basically “our conference is better top to bottom than everyone else”. It’s just a big marketing campaign.
