driver compared to the football revenue, the P2 will be looking to get a bigger share of the NCAA Basketball tournament pot of gold. Once all is said and done the P2 will play hard ball with the NCAA on this issue. There is no way in heck that they are going to be willing to share equal payouts with the Daytons of the world. There will be a game of brinkmanship at some point. The NCAA will say, "no", equal payouts for everyone or you dont have to participate. The P2 will say "good luck than" - no Duke, UNC, Kansas, Mich, Fla, aTm, LSU, etc in the NCAA Tournament. How many people are going to tune in to watch Gonzaga vs Dayton? They will than realize that a "breakup" is not good for either and negotiate a larger payout for the P2. This is probably 10 years down the road, but it is coming and the P2 leadership is playing the long game here - as they should.
