If the Big Ten and SEC plan to do their own thing for all sports, then they

made need to increase their size to ensure they have enough content for all those other sports. Title IX isn't going anywhere, so the non-revenue sports can't be simply disregarded and abandoned for the sake of football and maybe men's basketball.
