the B10, which has been floated lately, and also it seems that the recent rumblings seem to suggest a bigger expansion pool to the B10 and SEC, then maybe more than 5 or 6 spots come open? If so, then VT should land in a good spot. That's what I'm hoping for (but don't really understand) is what is the catalyst to get the B10 and SEC to jump to somewhere around 24 schools each. It would seem that additions other than FSU, UNC, Notre Dame and maybe Clemson and Miami become dilutive. Maybe some existing schools get jettisoned or maybe basketball or some metric such as cable homes per state flip the script. But my baseline is that this doesn't look good for VT. I really hate to rely on politicians, but for us to get pulled into the SEC or B10, it will require a sharp-elbowed Houdini act.
