Uva's glory days aren't even in the rear view mirror. And they never put

a string of seasons that VT had put together. They were white meat to Clemson for years and they have been white meat to VT for the last twenty some years. Uva does not support football like VT in any way. We put many thousands of fans in their stadium when we play there. We have even dubbed Scott Stadium as Lane Stadium North. We are a much larger school and as such have many more living alumni. If schools are sought out for market value, VT exceeds Uva. If schools are sought out for viewers and fans in the stands, VT exceeds UVa.

That's the paradox of the strategy. In a way it makes BOTH schools weaker,

VT did get to play USC at FedEx. Whereas UVA and BC were both able to do
