This is why picking apart the B12 now might be good for the ACC.

Partnering with the PAC, the ACC takes two B12 teams, and the PAC takes six. Minus their top eight teams, all the B12 TV money would go to us and the PAC. Plus, there would be only four big conferences remaining, with the bottom two being much closer to the top two. Strategically, this is smarter for the ACC than letting the B12 raid the PAC, leaving us stuck with a huge competitor in our back yard.
