THe challenge is keeping up with Va Tech in Northern Va, They are trying to build their version of the innovation center, but having problems raising money, funding to sustain the program. Also, VT other campus right off metro on Fairfax station, is being planed to be moved right adjacent to the metro station, and co-sited with HEIT Construction new corporate center. The campus willl be not only the functions at the Fairfax campus but also a new Center of Expertise for Cyber Security and construction. (remember HEIT already gave money for the new Building Construction building. So bottom line, you see Va campus (innovation center) with its own Metro Station adjacent to Amazon working in partnership to train new graduates to support AMAZON HQ, all along the blue line, then the architecture campus in Old Town Alexandria, the R&D campus in Balston right next to some of the biggest Federal agencies who disperse R&D Federal Resources and then the Fairfax campus. and dont forget the Medical school has a satellite campus with the National Children's Hospital in DC. Where is or who is GMU????
