ND has to pay for further Big Ten expansion

If ND joins the Big Ten, it will fund the acquisition of Stanford, Washington and Oregon. If ND doesn't join the Big Ten, the gamble by the Big Ten to add Southern Cal and UCLA leaves the latter on an island. The Big Ten ran numbers and Oregon, Washington and Stanford don't make the $$$ cut without ND being involved.
