Baseball FA had rules and contracts that bound both parties

this stupidity is FA without contracts or governance. We actually had a player that quit the team a week before the season started so he could transfer. That can't happen in a league with contracts and rules, he would have been bound to his contract and if he failed to live up to it, he would be barred from signing with another team.
