The P2 line is going to drawn somewhere. And we may or may not be on the right side of things when it happens. Seems like Berlin in 1961. Pardon the comparison. Yeah, I know this P2 drama doesn't compare to human rights in Germany. But it has that feel of "I can see this coming; which side will I be on when the divide becomes permanent?" And even if we "end up on the right side"; I will mourn for those who didn't make it. I think there is a lot of quality programs in the country (in the Big XII for instance) that just look like they will be left behind. A school like Kansas State comes to mind. Been very good in football for several decades now. And they are an after thought apparently. Meanwhile, there will be teams that make the cut which I cannot even remember playing in a game of national importance during my lifetime. Anyway, we might sneak in, or maybe not. But it's just a sad state of affairs either way for the sport as a whole.
