The questions you raise........

along with a host of others point to the extreme absurdity and uselessness of the media coverage surrounding conference realignment discussions. How many moves with conference hopping have actually been broken in advance during the last 20 years? The answer, not many, and the number decreases if you eliminate those without other underlying agendas that leaked the info. These are largely transactions initiated and frameworks finalized out of sight. Most, if not all, the "reporting" being done is little more than clickbait with agendas by reporters with likely no better knowledge or connections than some message board posters. Flugaur gets what somebody in the B1G wants him to have and releases it as directed. People would be wise to consider sources, motives and possible agendas associated with whatever they read on most things these days and especially where conference realignment is concerned. That advice goes double for known trolls that now regularly show up on this board.
