Forget notion of PODS. No reason to have divisions...

They are only restrictive to the overall product. The ACC took a long time figure out that you are better just having 2 to 3 main rivals, which is what every team has... and then provide full scheduling flexibility after that. If you're going to merge ACC and B12, then you absolutely want to grab Oregon, Washingon, Arizona, Colorado... because any defection of those teams to the Big10 or SEC just add to their eventual collective property and market value. If you secure the remaining Pac10 teams, you could really hurt USC and UCLA as they really are isolated and will suffer without any neighbors.
