And if UVA is jumping then it means the ACC is dead and VT is either going to B12 or (longshot possibility) the SEC. Overall, VT does have strong ties to UVA but it's not going to hold UVA back athletically. There would probably be some handshake deal to keep scheduling each other in all sports. Plus maybe UVA could help influence the BIG crowd for some VT benefits (future expansion or scheduling?) The combination of UNC going, ACC being dead, AAU schools, BIG money would all mean that UVA takes the offer.
