Want to understand the breakaway of sports channels from the rest of the entertainment platforms, there it is. I suspected gambling was going to be a major component in the breakaway, but hadn't thought of this angle. Think about it, those that will pay for a sports only streaming service will likely be much more inclined to gamble on sports. Now, show games and allow people to bet while the game is going on (will the next play be a pass or run, will the FG be good, who will score next) it's the ultimate interactive revenue stream. Doesn't matter if viewership is cut in 1/2, those that are watching are contributing 100's of times more revenue by betting. Yeah, this is going to end up well....SMH
