There will always be a delay

The only place that the betting on the next play is feasible is in the stadium itself, and the delay in processing the bet will make that somewhat unfeasible. In terms of who gets what is happening in the game, it goes from fastest to slower listed below: In stadium attendees local radio radio network over the air tv cable tv satellite tv streaming services newspaper carrier pigeon Each step each delivery system takes: In stadium: Eyes to brain Local radio: radio booth to radio station to broadcast antenna Radio network: radio booth to radio station to satellite to affiliate radio station to their broadcast antenna Over the air tv: Mobile production truck at stadium to satellite to network master control to satellite to local affiliate to broadcast antenna Cable tv: Mobile production truck at stadium to satellite to network master control to satellite to local cable company through their encryption to their lines to decoder box in the home Satellite tv: Mobile production truck at stadium to satellite to network master control to satellite to satellite tv company to their master control/encryption to their satellite to the satellite box/decoder in the home Streaming services: Mobile production truck at stadium to satellite to network master control to satellite to streaming HQ's master control where it is converted to whichever video format they use to the internet where it tries to find the fastest route to your device and then your device converts it for your viewing pleasure. Newspaper: Reporter waits until after the game, shoots the breeze with other reporters, types up the story sends it to the newspaper where an editor makes changes before it is sent to the printer where it gets printed and bundled up, a truck picks it up and drops it off to a carrier who then delivers it to your home where you open it and read about the game during your morning constitutional Carrier pigeon: Unknown, Chances are a hawk got the pigeon before it delivered the results.
