ding, ding, ding, correct!
The Dolphins had a ridiculously easy schedule for a team that had won the AFC in the prior year. The Chiefs and Giants (both 8-6) were the only winning teams that the Dolphins played during the regular season. The Jets and Vikings were both 7-7 and both had winning records against teams not named the Dolphins. The other nine opponents all had losing records.

Nope 1972 was part of the Colts 3 year dark ages (post-Unitas, pre-Jones).
We were very bad those 3 years.
