Deadpool and Wolverine
My wife and I saw it last night (cheap Tuesday deal). We had different reactions.
Mine: "Entertaining and funny." Weak story but the interplay between the two title characters was great and the fight sequences were solid.
Hers: "Entertaining but tiresome." Deadpool's nonstop riffing, meta references and F bombs can wear you out. It was a bit long. Plus endless cameos, some landed and some eh??

it wasn't for me. I'm sure I'll watch it at some point when it's free but that much cussing just turns me off. 1 and 2 were non-stop fbombs and jackoff jokes. A few cleverly placed ones can make me laugh quite a bit but when it's every sentence it's just annoying.

I've enjoyed the entire Star Trek franchise, especially TNG. And Sir Pat Stewart is the closest thing I have to a man crush...but after a few episodes of the Picard Fbomb show I quit watching. Dr

I thought it was great and I haven't laughed that much at a movie in a long time. It was a love letter to 25 years of Marvel movies and a great homage to those Fox movies.
Was she just not familiar with Deadpool? "Nonstop riffing, meta references, and F bombs" is essentially his biography.

Also the fact they let the screenwriter take shots at the current MCU's box office flops.
I think my wife has a maximum number of dick/clit jokes she can take in one film and he waaaaay overshot it.
