What surprised me the most about the Bud Light fiasco...
Apparently Modelo Especial was the #2 beer in the US. I wouldn't have picked that if you gave me 20 guesses.
For that brand to be so popular on a sustained basis (i.e., apart from Cinco de Mayo) I'm guessing that is the beer of choice for Mexican-Americans?
So does that mean that only gringos drink Corona?

It's not wonderful, but better than Bud, Miller, Coors, IMHO when you want to pay less than $20 for a 12 pack. That said, I also like PBR. Aldi's Pilsner is quite tasty and nice on the budget too. I had a friend leave a few Michelob Ultra Golds at my house. That is not something I would have thought to buy but they were actually pretty good on a hot day.

(When I’m having more than 1-2). Lots of options in that market space if like me your fratty and out of touch.
There are also a few real good low carb microbrew IPAs out there now…Dogfish Head, Bells etc.

Frankly the mass marketed American light beers suck, and the regular brews aren't much better. (I like MGD better than ML)
