Yeah, I've been there before. Stopped on the Dutch side, but rented a car and drove over to the French side one day.
Saw some FF Legionnaires on the French side. Those were the first ones I'd ever seen outside of the movies...lol

You've driven there so you know what I'm talking about. All roads are THREE lanes. One each way, and the center-line for scooters. Actually had a local lady call to my attention (and she was right) to the fact that you never see anyone older than early 20's on those scooters. She said you either wise up, or don't see 30....like i said..freaking CRAZY!

loves St Bart's/. I do too, but prefer Aquilla.
Eden Rock is home of the most expensive lunch I have ever eaten..Still, it is very cool, as is the beach & beach service.

beach in Harbour Island off Eleuthera. It is our #1 spot, as we found it on our Honeymoon 32 years ago and have returned ever since. Usually go a couple of time a year. Have Harbour Island stories going way back to when I had a long conversation with a seedily dressed guy at a tiny (4 seats) beach bar. He finally introduced himself to me as Bob. I knew damn well who he was, but they all come down there to NOT be recognized (unlike St Barth's where movie star and athletes go TO be seen). Oh, you would know Bob as Robert......as in De Niro. Lots of stories like that in Harbour Island, but the BIG attraction is that amazing beach

could care less anyway, but my wife is intrigued by all that. She will ask people at HI and St Bart's if they'd seen anyone famous recently. That embarasses me, so I always chime in..."other than the two of us"; she is embarrassed right back...đ

was interesting nonetheless. We didn't talk movies or politics., just about family and the Island (small talk) Actually, summer is when I have seen them. Pippen is another, Cher stays at a place on the Harbour side and saw Dale Earnhardt at Airport on Eleuthera doing his pre-flight check one year long ago, all in summer. Guys like Jagger and Jimmy Buffett come around the holidays, but I have not seen them there then.
