Size of the waves in Nazaré, Portugal.
These are crazy! Recently there was a show with "big wave" surfers surfing those waves. Just crazy!

The biggest waves are in winter and on the other side of the bluff from town. Still...there were some huge sets coming in on the town side. Maybe some 20 footers. Life guards take no lip - you're not allowed to get anywhere near. People line up on the boardwalk and just watch, their eyes glazing over. Very cool coastline - reminds of Cali.

For some odd reason, I don't think we'll get the forecast...Just a hunch, but I think we'll end up with 3-5" of snow.

the closer you get to VB..They said more south and east, less north and west; exactly opposite of usual. We are in Goochland. Been snowing since 7AM. Not hard, but we have maybe 2-3 inches (which is ENOUGH for me).
It will probably snow all night down there. We are supposed to be done in an hour or so!
Good luck. If you WANT it, I hope you get it. If you (like me) want SUMMER, I hope you don't get much more! 😁
