Report: Ann Wilson at Floydfest
Short but great set. Crazy On You, Even It Up, Magic Man, Barracuda, and Straight On For You (with a verse of Bowie's Let's Dance in the middle). Lots of covers - Rooster (Alice In Chains), Bridge of Sighs (Trower), and the closer Zep's Immigrant Song. Also did Goin' to California except she sang "goin' to West Virginia...oh sh1t I mean Virginia". None of the 80s and 90 sappy crap. Very enjoyable. She missed a couple of the high notes but so did Melissa Etheridge - who is 11 yrs younger. Damn hard to believe it was 45 yrs ago next month I saw Heart in Cassell.

mid-80's. Budweiser sponsored free concerts at the south end of the Beach...got to see The Beach Boys the
next day and then The Fixx after that. Phillip Morris was passing out free cigarettes in the crowd...times have
changed.

I enjoyed it, I was impressed she could still sing at all and she was able to hold the high notes albeit only for a moment. For me too the last time I saw Heart was about 45 years ago and 30 miles east in Cassell coliseum. She was walking real slow with assistance to the limo afterwards.
Yeah, thought a lot of the headliners were over-the-hill but give Anne credit for holding her ground and giving a good show.

Hint: They were very popular at VT with the New Jersey students.
