My dad was in WW2 (Iwo Jima) and Korea. He never talked about it once. My->

mom said that when he left the service, he LEFT. It was a past chapter for him and he never looked back (at least not that we were aware of). He was proud of his service and was buried with Military Honors, but he just never thought it was something you talked about.. A LOT of those guys felt that way, it seems! They were heroes one and all
