I say settle it with the longest throw in ...

The entire 'throw in' is really friggin entertaining. The ball goes out of bounds and somebody grabs it and runs 15-20 yards from that point and then throws it in. I get that there isn't a real advantage and since they aren't really even using a clock an extra 20 yards is meaningless but it is funny to watch. I do love the WC but there is still a ton about futbol that is just weird. Maybe that is because we now have an ABS system in baseball and we have automated first down measurements in the real football. And pretty much every sport goes down to the tenth of a second on the clock.

WRT #1, since both teams are 11 vs. 11 (assuming no red cards), then isn't

The only "fair" way is too just keep playing

Did something happen that made you think something broke and it needs to be

I think that PKs are a lousy way to settle a soccer game. Like others

How is it you feel you can change this?**

#1 is similar to what they do in field hockey. **

I'd say skip PKs and go to OT with no offsides rule

The off-sides thing drives me nuts
