Orthopedist or other MD will be useless

You might get PT, and it might work. PTs do what the insurance company allows them to do, and that's to get you being able to function in daily life. Find yourself a trainer who deals with restoring balance. I tore my adductor Magnus in high school. Took me years of dealing with it before I found a trainer who knew how to get rid of the imbalance that was not allowing to get better.
