True. Heck, I'd expect EV's are actually profitable if you take out the
up-front capital investment. After all, most of the capital used to make an ICE vehicle is pre-existing, paid-for, and fully depreciated at this point. That is literally a zero-expense item on the balance sheet for most car makers. Most of the infrastructure and supply chain for an EV is new and still being paid for.
