Your post shows you don't understand BTC. The point isn't that it is blockchain or a digital ledger. Yes, Gensler embarrasses himself by saying this when promoting his fiat currency. The point is that it doesn't have an intermediary. An intermediary has control over your money. Say for example, you don't want to do something so you protest...Like take an experimental shot, so you protest and boom, your bank account is frozen. That is physically impossible in BTC if you self custody. That's the entire point of it. This decoupling of money and gov't has precedence--> religion. Once upon a time people lived as serfs and their king proclaimed he was some kind of deity. Eventually he wanted what another king had and you got put into the army to die for your god. People eventually wised up to this and we arrived at separation of church and state. Same thing will happen with money. Your networth is really a numerator(your dollars) over a denominator and the denominator is all the USD out there. If they keep printing, you get poorer, that's how it works. Your percent of the pie shrinks every day. I can explain quantitive easing if you want but it shows the whole thing is a ponzy scheme. Imagine Janet Yellen issuing debt, Jay Powells tells the banks to buy the debt, and Jay prints money out of thin air to buy the debt from the banks. Magic money. All empires eventually collapse.
