Its so much more diffcult than you think. I worked for Enterprise/national

for years at the airport. WE tried everything to stop the flow of reservations, to the point of literally turning them off to stop the damage. Corporate also made it almost impossible when they added features to corporate accounts of our big clients that lets them book regardless of MLR(min length rentals) or flat out sold out signs. Savy travelers knew that you could just book a car for a month knowing that you'd just return in in less than 24 hours to circumvent the MLR's in place. Most of the time we did fine but a few times a year due to weather, diverted flights, and **** happening we had to tell people to kick rocks. fun times.
