I've used an American Advantage card for years. My wife and I travel a ->
fair amount throughout the Caribbean and Bahama Out Islands. I use miles to fly a lot. I use that as my primary card, used it for business before I retired, and rack up points (obviously, you better may it off monthly). We got one free ticket on our last trip, and I'll probably skip a trip and get 2 tickets next time. In the meantime, we are high enough level that we get priority and often get upgraded to first class..
I highly recommend it, and we have had good luck with American...Everybody has their own opinion, but that is mine
