In grad school it was 15 weeks of material in 10
Ohio State Geodetic Engineering in the early 90s was the worst 15 months of my life. They jammed a semester into a quarter. Brutal.

It worked great!
Important material got 2 quarters, less important 1. Could focus a lot more!

I thought it was better too, for the same reason

If you hated a class, it was over in 10 weeks!

It was bliss. Had 2 years on quarters and 2 years semesters
Finals were easier with roughly 2/3rd material.

I was on quarters for 2 years and semesters for 2 years. '86-'90. VT was
on the quarter system for most of the 80's.
